Living life through the pages,

Of a book I call mine,

Looking back, I can see,

Everywhere I was blind.

Not knowing how lucky,

Or what I might find.

It’s these stories we live,

One chapter at a time.

 

The stories we live,

The pages we turn,

The chapters of our lives,

The lessons that we learn.

The times that we’ve fallen,

The hearts that we break,

We keep moving forward,

With new chapters to make.

 

 

Living out our days,

Some on borrowed time,

Fairytales and nightmares,

One story, so divine.

Still finding the words,

For this book of mine,

Page by page,

One chapter at a time.
